Martyman, or “Heartinook” as I’ve seen him referred to on Twitter, came out of nowhere in training camp to make the Coyotes opening night roster and be an impactful young contributor in the lineup.

Midway through the 3rd period on November 10th, Jordan Martinook dug the puck out of the right corner and took it below the red line.
From there he backhanded a centering pass to Brad Richardson who redirected it home. It turned out to be the game-winning goal.
With his speed and grit, Jordan Martinook is winning over fans in the desert. After they watch this video again, the love will only deepen.
Props to Richardson who was on the cusp all night and finally got his due against his old team.
