It is Friday October 4th Coyotes fans! So to start your day let’s kick things off with another Morning Howl Report! The Arizona Coyotes lost to the Anaheim Ducks yesterday by a score of two to one. The Coyotes record is 0-1-0 on the season, tying them for last in the division.

Nick Schmaltz did not really show up on the ice for the first game of the season. He needs to step up more for the Coyotes, if they want to succeed.

The Arizona Coyotes have a lot of young players in their locker room. If they want to make a push for the playoffs they are going to need some leaders to help guide the team. Luckily the Arizona Coyotes have a lot of experienced NHL players to turn too.

Thoughts from Pacific Division games :

The Coyotes look like they can matchup with any of the teams in the Pacific Division. They are as fast as the top teams, and have the skill to succeed. I am however worried about the size and physicality of some of the other teams. Vegas and San Jose are very big teams, and against each other it comes out. If Arizona wants to make the playoffs and succeed they will need to play a bigger size type of hockey.

At the end of the day the Pacific Division is wide open, so Arizona Coyotes fans should be excited because it will be a fun year.
