It was not pretty, but the Arizona Coyotes found a way to get a win last night against the New York Rangers. That and much more will be mentioned in today’s Morning Howl Report!

The Arizona Coyotes had a big step in gaining respect from eastern conference teams yesterday when they beat the New York Rangers in OT. The Coyotes have struggled on their trip to New York in the past so finding a way to start the trip off strong was key. (Howlin’ Hockey)

It is never too soon to look at possible trade deadline targets for the Coyotes. In fact one such player was in action yesterday against the Arizona Coyotes. Chris Kreider is a player any team would be lucky to have, and he is playing on an expiring contract. That and more is in our trade deadline report. (Howlin’ Hockey)

The Arizona Coyotes have a lot of time left this season. They have been finding goals from almost everyone on the team. That is a great thing when it comes to winning, but bad for the salary cap. If the Arizona Coyotes are going to win this season they won’t be able to bring back all their players on expiring contracts next season. Luckily we have a detailed list of the top Coyotes playing for a contract for you! (Howlin’ Hockey)

Opponent watch :

Next up for the Arizona Coyotes is the New York Islanders on Thursday. New York currently has a record of 5-3 giving them the fourth-best record in the Metropolitan division.
