Arizona Coyotes Morning Howl Report October 31st 2019
Good Morning Arizona Coyotes fans! Today is Halloween, and we have the morning howl report to prove it!
Honestly, the Coyotes were not great yesterday at home on Halloween night. We have the full game recap for you in a different post, but let’s just talk about some of the bad breaks. Raanta lost his skate blade, and the Canadiens scored off of a weird bounce in the first minute of the game. (NBC Sports)
Carey Price has had a very dominant record against the Arizona Coyotes. Yesterday Price stopped 33 shots on goal against the ‘Yotes to help beat the team at home. Hot goaltending continues to be a trend for when it comes to beating the Coyotes. (Yahoo Sports)
Barrett Hayton has played pretty well this season. However, some people are questioning whether or not Hayton should return to juniors this season. Hayton has played in 5 games this season. The former first-round pick in 2018 has registered 3 points so far in the year. In the last few games, Hayton has been playing for about 13 minutes a game, not bad for a rookie but he could get more playing time in juniors. (Arizona Republic)
Conor Garland continues to be the leading scorer for the Coyotes. Garland has found the back of the net 6 times. We broke down some of his goals in one of our most recent posts. (Howlin’ Hockey)
Although Garland has been one of the better players for the Coyotes this season, today is Halloween. Today the ‘Yotes are taking the day to prepare for a game Saturday. We are preparing for Saturday and celebrating today’s spooky holiday. Check out our Halloween what if series before today ends! (Howlin’ Hockey)
