The Arizona Coyotes have been playing great hockey as of late. With great hockey comes great stories to talk about, so let’s jump in with today’s Morning Howl Report!

The Arizona Coyotes got a big win last night against the LA Kings. A big reason for the win was the Coyotes disciplined play against the Kings. LA took so many penalties last night that the Coyotes were always given an opportunity to succeed on offense, and they did score a power-play goal along the way. Arizona can thank their disciplined play for the win. (Howlin’ Hockey)

With the Coyotes win last night, the ‘Yotes enter into unprecedented territory with their two goaltenders. Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper became the first Coyotes goaltending duo in franchise history to put up a shut out in back to back games. (Howlin’ Hockey)

Conor Garland has been like a wrecking machine for the Arizona Coyotes, not only was he the second star of the week for the ‘Yotes last week, but he also is getting talked about around the NHL. Garland, who leads the team in goals, has been finding a way to get things done for the Coyotes no matter the opponent. (NBC Sports)

A lot of the Arizona Coyotes roster has been turning heads all season. One player that is standing out from the rest of the pack is Christian Dvorak. Dvorak, who currently is 5th on the team in points and second on the team with goals, has been having a great season. Arizona is going to need Dvorak to continue to impress fans and teammates alike if they want to continue to succeed. (Five for Howling)

Saturday’s game against the Calgary Flames featured some fun moments. We already talked about the fight that pitted Darcy Kuemper against the entire Calgary team. One thing we have not mentioned yet is how awesome Leighton Accardo is. The young ‘Yotes fan is currently battlying cancer, but that did not stop her from taking the first faceoff of the night. Hockey fights cancer month is in full swing, and Leighton will forever be apart of the Coyotes team after signing a one day contract on Saturday.
