The Arizona Coyotes played 4 games from 11/17-11/24 and managed to finish things off with a record of 2-1-1. The Coyotes captured 5 of a possible 8 points, not bad for a team that has been struggling as of late.

The Coyotes have some players to thank for their success this past week. Success including beating the LA Kings twice, and capturing a point against the Edmonton Oilers.

The only game that was a dud this past week for the Coyotes game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, a team that ended the Coyotes two-game shut out streak. We have your full 3 stars of the week

(Last weeks Stars: 3  Darcy Kuemper, 2 Conor Garland, 1 Clayton Keller)

Number 3 star of the week: Antti Raanta

Ok, I know this is the second time we are talking about this but still it needs to be mentioned again. Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper did the impossible this past week and won back to back games in shut out fashion. The pair is the first Coyotes goaltenders to do that in franchise history, and it earns Raanta the third star of the week.

Raanta made 31 saves against the Kings to earn that shut out win, and he went on to beat the Kings again later this week in LA. Raanta made 43 saves during the second matchup against LA during the week. Both games Raanta appeared in this week were wins.

Number 2 star of the week: Vinnie Hinostroza

Vinnie Hinostroza managed to put up 2 goals and an assist this past week in the past 4 games for the ‘Yotes. Check out Vinnie’s goal last night to help give the Coyotes a chance against Edmonton.

Although the Coyotes lost the game, Vinnie’s goal against Edmonton helped give the team a fighting chance to win. His two goals in the past three games have helped add to his point total so far on the year, as he currently has a three-game point streak.

Vinnie Hinostroza is one player the Coyotes want to succeed if they are going to get scoring from their bottom six. Hopefully, he can build off of this past week’s success and add to it moving forward.

Number 1 star of the week: Christian Dvorak

Christian Dvorak helped to set up numerous scoring opportunities these past few weeks. He managed to put up 3 assists and was a plus 3 in the plus/minus department. Dvorak has been an asset for the Coyotes all year, and he is averaging great ice time so far this season. The young forward has been playing in about 16 minutes of every game so far this season.

Dvorak has been impressing fans all year, and he is only 25 points away from beating his season-high point total at 37. With a little less than 60 games to go there is no doubt in my mind that Dvorak will reach that point total and more!
