I will be the first to admit I am wrong if Taylor Hall stays with the Arizona Coyotes after the offseason. Things are looking to be going down that route as of now, as Hall’s agent met for dinner with Alex Meruelo and John Chayka.

The Arizona Coyotes believe that they can keep Taylor Hall, and they have no plan on trading him according to Pierre Lebrun of TSN. The Coyotes plan on keeping Hall around now and hoping that something works out this offseason. These two parties need to build some trust. It is like when San Jose re-signed Erik Karlsson in the offseason a few years back not during the year after trading for him.

I know that the Arizona Coyotes might benefit more now trading Taylor Hall for something, but the way things are looking as of right now the team believes they might have a chance at re-signing Taylor Hall.

Trading Taylor Hall would only be beneficial if the Coyotes were not going to be able to re-sign him. Considering the team thinks that they are going to be able to keep him around they definitely should not trade him. Hall has 20 points in 24 games so far with the Coyotes, I can not wait to see what he can do with a few years under his belt in Arizona a few years down the line… hopefully.

Hall has been a great leader for the Coyotes in such a short amount of time. I think that if Hall can play another year or two with the Coyotes then he would step into a leadership role with the team maybe even wearing the A eventually.

I know that the Arizona Coyotes have not done the best job marketing themselves to Hall the past two months. We went from a top team in the league to a team that could not even swing together back to back wins. Maybe he can look past the past few months and look ahead down the line.

Think about how good this team can be with a more skilled Barrett Hayton in a few seasons with Nick Schmaltz, Clayton Keller, and Christian Dvorak all ready to go. Keeping Hall is a gamble, but it looks like Meruelo and Chayka are willing to roll the dice on Taylor Hall re-signing with the team. Hopefully, Hall is willing to roll the dice on us as well!
